Session Title: What you can see with Big Data
Join us for a virtual tour of some of the ways health care big data can be explored to reveal insights that improve the care you receive.  Everyone is talking about big data.  But what does it really mean?  In health care,  new data sources make it possible to look at large numbers of patients and identify those at risk for health problems, or who could benefit from particular treatments.  In this session, our CEO, Paul Bleicher will provide an overview of what OptumLabs is doing at the frontier of health care data science and discovery.  Our Innovation team, led by Sanji Fernando, will then share interactive examples of how health care big data can reveal the path to a disease, or even how the community you live in can influence your health.

We are located at One Main Street, in Kendall Square, by the Longfellow Bridge.  You can take the Red Line to the Kendall/MIT stop and walk a few minutes to our building.  For those who prefer to drive, the Kendall Square Parking lot is just around the corner.  Their website is http://kendallsquare.org/related/parking/.  Upon arrival, please check in at the front desk on the main floor before proceeding to our office on the 10th floor.
